Business Economics Minor

ECN 231 & 232: Micro and Macroeconomics

Assess inflation, unemployment, taxation, and market intervention through a Christian worldview, applying political economy concepts to assess and discern the effectiveness of economic decision-making.

ECN-321: Intermediate Microeconomics

Apply microeconomic theory, game theory, and industrial organization tools to make sound managerial decisions, analyzing markets, production, and firm behavior through real-world models and insights from leading economists.

ECN-334: Money and Banking

Learn the role of money in the economy, including money flows, the Federal Reserve System, banking regulation, and bank performance.

ECN-335: Intermediate Macroeconomics

Analyze international trade and finance through macroeconomic and microeconomic applications. Topics include international accounting standards, exchange rates, foreign direct investment, global markets, and financial control in an international context.

Students will choose two electives: International Development Economics, Family Economics, Economics of Sport, Health Care Economics, Internship, Directed Readings or Advanced Topics.
