Healthy eating matters.

Cornerstone University Food Service offers a wide variety of menu choices, working to stay on top of the latest culinary trends while maintaining traditional favorites. The Dining Commons has multiple "stations" serving a variety of menu choices.

Dining Commons

The Dining Commons serves meals seven days a week with a variety of menu options available during each service.

While an oatmeal and yogurt bar, cereal and waffles are available throughout breakfast, a buffet-style breakfast includes scrambled eggs, entree and sides until 8:30 a.m. and made-to-order omelets are offered beginning at 8 a.m.

At lunch and dinner, our chefs work with fresh ingredients to create unique main courses and fresh, healthy soups. Joe's Pizzeria is home to our stone-fired pizza oven where artisans use our house pizza sauce and homemade dough to create an array of custom pizzas. The Deli offers a hot sandwich and the self-serve panini grill allows one to fashion their own toasted masterpiece. The Salad Bar offers extensive variety as well as fruit, yogurt and granola. Meals also include desserts, coffee, soda fountain and juices.

Special Dietary Needs

CU Food Service understands there are many allergies and food sensitivities limiting a person's ability to dine in a cafeteria setting. To help those with health concerns find meal options to fit their particular needs, we have an Allergen Sensitive Zone where all foods are gluten free, nut free and labeled for dairy, egg and soy contaminates.

If there are any questions pertaining to special dietary needs or requests for specific nutritional needs, contact the Food Service Office by phone (616.222.1438) or fax (616.222.1593) to speak with the Director or Head Chef.
