Cornerstone Welcomes New Faculty in Engineering, Mathematics, Nursing and Kinesiology

From artificial intelligence, engineering, and advanced mathematics to nursing and human performance, Cornerstone University is strengthening its School of Health, Science & Technology with faculty who bring extensive academic, industry and clinical experience.
The faculty additions deepen Cornerstone’s investment in STEM and health education and prepare students for high-growth, community-serving fields.

Meet the Faculty
- Francis Edoziuno, Ph.D., assistant professor of engineering — A materials and metallurgical engineer with three engineering degrees and more than eight years of teaching and research experience, including at the University of Hartford, with expertise in advanced materials and alloys for aerospace and automotive applications, computational engineering and AI.
- Amy M. Griswold, DNP, RN, assistant professor of nursing — A board-certified acute-care nurse practitioner with nearly two decades of nursing and leadership experience at Spectrum Health and Bronson Cardiothoracic Surgery Specialists, Griswold holds a DNP in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of Michigan-Flint. Dr. Griswold joined Cornerstone recently this year.
- Zachary Droll, Ph.D., assistant professor of kinesiology — A human-performance specialist with more than a decade of strength and conditioning experience across collegiate and professional/elite athletics, Droll previously served as assistant professor and director of strength and conditioning at Lipscomb University and holds a Ph.D. in Leadership: Health and Human Performance from Concordia University Chicago.
“Students in these programs will learn from faculty who have led in health care, engineering, research and human performance and are passionate about bringing that experience into the classroom,” said Kevin Hall, Ph.D., vice president for academics & spiritual formation. “That is what we want for our students — deep knowledge, real-world preparation and Biblical wisdom to lead in their professions.”
These faculty additions come as Cornerstone introduces The Cornerstone Core™, integrating the beautiful Christian worldview, the wisdom of the American experience and marketplace knowledge, including AI and emerging technology, across every undergraduate student’s education.
