At Cornerstone University, we are supported by a network of alumni and friends who are devoted to supporting future Golden Eagles. All of our undergraduate scholarships are funded by generous partners of CU. They see a Christian education as something that should be achievable and affordable, and something that is vital to our changing world. Scholarships are available based on merit, need and academic division.
For the 2021-22 academic year, academic awards are based on GPA only.

First-Year Student Scholarship Levels
We believe in the value of an education centered on Christ. It’s a unique investment and one that we take seriously, which is why we offer opportunities to help you reduce the cost of college.
Determine your first-year student award based on the chart below. Transfer students with less than 24 college credits will be awarded a first-year student award.

Transfer Student Scholarship Levels
We understand you’re invested in earning a college degree. We’re here to provide assistance so that you pay the least amount of money to attain your degree. These scholarships are awarded to transfer students with 24 or more completed college credits.

The Pastor’s Scholarship is awarded to students who have shown exceptional Christian leadership through ministry involvement. This scholarship award is valued at $1,000 per year.
To qualify, you must have a high school or college GPA of 3.0 or higher and be recommended by a pastor or youth pastor. Recommendations are based on demonstrations of your spiritual maturity, strong academic credentials, church and community participation and desire to influence the world for Christ.
The application submission deadline for students is Dec. 10. Pastor or youth pastor recommendations must be received by Dec. 15.
Students must live on Cornerstone’s campus in order to receive this award.

This is a combined scholarship application. Please only apply for those scholarships for which you meet the GPA requirements.
If you are looking for an opportunity to shape campus culture, help foster an inclusive community, and act as a culturally intelligent student leader, you may be the perfect fit for the Kingdom Scholars program.
Candidates must have a GPA of 3.4 or higher, complete the required application and file the FAFSA. Select applicants will be chosen to participate in interviews before final acceptance into the scholarship program.

The Global Scholarship is awarded to U.S. citizen or international missionary kids whose families are serving overseas. Scholarship award values range from $1,000 to $4,000 per year.
Students who maintain a 3.0 high school or college GPA are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be accepted for admission for the upcoming fall semester no later than Feb. 5. In addition to your own application, you must be recommended by your mission director, dorm parent, teacher or coach. Recommendations are based on demonstrations of your spiritual maturity, strong academic credentials, church and community participation and desire to influence the world for Christ.
Applications are due on Feb. 1 and recommendations are due on Feb. 15 by 5 p.m.
Music scholarships are awarded to students with advanced skills in music; non-music majors are also encouraged to apply. Scholarship award values range from $500 to $8,000 per year.
Scholarship applicants are required to be accepted to Cornerstone and complete an audition in person or by submitting a video recording. View more details.
Music majors are required to register for an in-person or virtual Music Major Day through the application form to be considered for program acceptance and scholarship consideration. Please complete the application for your live or virtual audition one week prior to your desired audition date. Possible audition dates:
Non-music majors must submit a video recording at the time of their application. Applications for non-music majors are due by March 26, 2021.
CU offers 19 varsity sports as well as JV options to student-athletes. Athletic scholarships are awarded to outstanding athletes. Scholarship award values range from $500 per year to full tuition.

Please Note: This scholarship is only available for transfer students.
Cornerstone annually awards several scholarships funded and endowed by generous friends of the university. In consultation with faculty members, a scholarship committee awards most of the scholarships in April of each year based upon the criteria for each scholarship.
Additional external scholarships are also available outside of Cornerstone. Consider applying for external funding awarded by your local community foundation, organizations, businesses and more.
