Students enrolled in Cornerstone University's Professional & Graduate Studies Division must have reliable access to a computer and high-speed Internet access. If you are taking an online course, it is expected that you will own a computer that meets the requirements below and that you have access to the Internet from your home. E-mail and Internet connections are a primary means of participating in courses and are thus necessary and significant contributors to academic success at Cornerstone University. Please review your computer’s specifications to determine whether they meet or exceed the minimum requirements listed below.

*Tablet devices, such as the Apple iPad, are great supplemental tools, but they do not meet CU's minimum technology requirements.
Students must have the ability to save their assignments in Microsoft Office format (i.e. .doc/x). Microsoft Office is available at an academic discount from various retailers. Alternative software such as Google Docs, LibreOffice or OpenOffice may also be used.
On desktops and laptops, Google Chrome comes with both Adobe Reader and Adobe Flash players directly integrated and enabled by default. If you use Mozilla Firefox, please ensure you have the following plugins installed:

Bachelor of Science in Ministry Leadership
Select courses use Logos Bible Software as an Educational Resources. As such students will need a computer with additional memory, available disk storage and video capabilities over PGS' general computer requirements.

Select courses require Microsoft Excel 2010 (Windows) or 2011 (Mac).
All Online Degree Programs
Select online courses include a requirement for live presentations conducted via the web (i.e. Google Hangout). A webcam, microphone and speakers/headphones will be required to participate in these assignments. When there is a live web-based presentation or online meeting required in a course, professors schedule the meeting(s) weeks in advance with multiple options so students can make the necessary arrangements to participate.
