The CU Experience

Some use their college years as a “hall pass,” a time to do whatever they want, whenever they want. Our students are different. They make the decision to create lives of purpose and integrity on day one. Activities on campus are designed to foster community and create a loving environment for students, whether they are worshiping during chapel or playing a round of racquetball in the Bernice Hansen Athletic Center. At Cornerstone University, your ceaseless determination to grow mentally, spiritually and emotionally matters.

Cornerstone taught me to strive constantly for my greatest potential.

Spiritual Life

Weekly chapel services. Sunday night Evensong. Residence hall Bible studies. Spiritual cultivation and building lives on the foundation of Christ’s teachings is what we’re all about. He is, after all, our cornerstone. As a student at Cornerstone, you can expect to be shaped in ways you never thought were possible.

Residence Life

The best example of community you’ll find on our campus is in residence life. Students who move into one of our seven residence halls come as strangers but leave as family. Each residence hall has their own time-honored traditions, from painting a brick in Keithley to the Quincer Fall Smash.

Student Organizations

Our students at Cornerstone are relentless in their pursuit of a whole-person education. Their passion for learning pours into everything they do, including their student-led organizations. These organizations encapsulate what it means to be an engaged follower of Christ, from division-specific clubs like the English Society and the Christian Medical Student Association to activity-based clubs like Cornerstone Ultimate Frisbee and the board game club.

Off-Campus Study Programs

One of the best ways to learn is through experience. Each year, Cornerstone offers a wide array of off-campus study programs, both around the country and around the world. Music students have the opportunity to spend a semester in Nashville to hone their professional music skills. Business students can take a J-term in the Netherlands, where they’ll visit corporate offices, embassies, and other state buildings. Off-campus study programs are available to all undergraduate students and typically do not cost much more than a semester in the classroom.

Athletics

With over 75 championship titles to their name, Golden Eagles compete and win. In all of their competitions, our student-athletes demonstrate Christlike values—all with a healthy amount of determination.

Music

No matter your major, you can get involved in one of Cornerstone’s many music ensembles. With groups that range from worship to symphonic to choral, there is a place for you to use the gifts God has given you.
