Cornerstone University's integrated comprehensive science major provides the broadest preparation for teaching physical, earth/space and biological science courses. This major provides a route toward Michigan certification to teach integrated science, general science, biology, chemistry, physics, earth/space science and physical science for grades 7 through 12.
Here, science is taught from the point of view that we can learn more about our Creator by studying and caring for His creation. It provides a window to glimpse some of the creativity, wisdom and beauty that are His. After completing this hands-on and challenging program, you will be well equipped to help middle and high school students encounter God by learning about the things He has made.
This major is currently one of the most sought after teaching endorsements around the United States. In addition, the course work lays a solid foundation for further studies pursuing an advanced degree.
